One of the exciting things we do is discovering the work of amazing women and helping them get the word out about their business ventures. Our Melbourne Ambassador Catherine Cervasio has been hard at work, meeting and mingling with female entrepreneurs, and today, she features a business woman whose venture involves a purpose beyond profits.

Just in time for the warmer weather, a new pure mineral enriched bottled water brand has hit our shores. I had the pleasure of being a guest at the Pure Artesian Water launch in Melbourne recently.

Pure Artesian is the brainchild of Australian business woman Nina Friedman who has travelled extensively with her export business CBN Resources over the past years.

“Pure Artesian is sourced from the pristine Drasa Mountains on the tropical islands of Fiji offering a purely smooth and silky taste” Nina explains.

Nina’s commitment to the Fijian community will see Pure Artesian putting back into supporting local projects. Her vision is to eventually set up a facility to provide essential learning services and programs for children with learning difficulties in regular school classes.

Not content to direct all of her charitable efforts offshore, Pure Artesian has also donated a year’s supply of bottled water for an event raising much needed funds for Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital.

The choice of water-front venue, Sandbar set the scene of the brand’s launch. Frangipani blossoms adorned the hair of Melbourne’s VIP listers whilst seafood canapés and French champagne were the perfect fare. Guests were treated to a display of traditional Fijian fire juggling and took home gift bags filled with luxury treats.
